I was in Boone, NC yesterday on business. I went to Cornerstone Christian Bookstore on Hwy 321. They had a decent supply of kings and older boosters and, when I mentioned that I was looking for the newer stuff, the clerk told me that she has been interested in allowing tournaments in the store but couldn't find anyone to host. I think she was the manager but I was running on a tight schedule and didn't have time for much small talk, so I can't be sure. I live 2 hours from Boone and Pastor a Saturday worshiping congregation so I could not endeavor to host said tournaments for them. If anyone on this board lives near Boone, or dosen't mind driving there, and would be interested in hosting, please let me know. I will get better info on the store and the woman I talked to and post it in this thread asap.
I see this as a chance to further the game in it's home state and rebuild the popularity here.
