GA I'm in AL so it kinda makes sense I'd want GA

Here's how it goes down:

Everybody in the MW votes for MN
Everybody in the South votes for GA, except YMT.

So, assuming there are the same amount of players in both (I'm actually guessing there's way more in MN, but I don't know about the entire south, so...), we should listen to YMT.

I agree with him that it is more logical. Give Florida another year and the Delarosa's YMT might have majorly expanded their playgroup. MN has kinda plateaued recently, and we all know that Nats kills Redemption wherever it goes...

The only reason I'd un-retire is if I had a chance to win the Super Bowl host Nats in the Northwest.  But since THAT would never happen here is who I would vote for this year since I have a slightly better chance to attend this year based on my job outlook:

1) MN
2) IA
3) FL

Next year my vote would probably flip to FL first and MN second.
Final ANB errata: Return player to game.

W00t, NW has votes for MN! They're a bit upside down, but I'm okay with that. Now, if we get the rest of the north on our side...

MN has gotten nats twice, SE has got nats once and that was New Orleans. SE should get another shot.

Well, as far as Florida is concerned... with the combined playgroups of Orlando and Pompano (Although we may have to start calling it Broward and Palm Beach counties =P ), plus a few new prospects down south, you're looking at about a possibility of 15-20 people. Just sayin'.

Wouldn't that never happen because you don't host anymore.... seems like a self fulfilling prophecy...

This isn't saying a ton, but SE regionals had no representation from TN.  There are only 4 "active" players in East TN, but I have 5 brand new players and at least 3 old ones I could get to a Nationals in TN or GA.  There are also guys from Middle/West TN, VA & KY that would definatly be at a SE Nationals.  So you can't always go based on one tournament.

That's not the point. The point is that there were 7 people at a Regionals, so why should we give you a Nationals this year. There are "guys from nearby" that will be at any nationals. That isn't an argument to use.

Minnesota should absolutely get Nationals this year. They have not had it for 6 years, they had the most attended Nationals, and it is relatively central after two staight extreme Nationals. Minnesota just makes sense.

QFT
and our regionals had more people then any tournament except nats

Again, we are at the same dilemma...When SE finally does get a nationals, where are they going to be able to host 100+ people plus have affordable lodging? Last time I heard SE for a bid, Atlanta did not have either...

YMT has connections in Orlando.  Theoretically, if Nats is hosted in a region with low regional attendance then raising attendance from out-of-state requires other attractions.  Orlando has that.

Overall, I think that a MN Nats is the best idea.  It's a guaranteed winner in terms of attendance.

Ever think that perhaps SE attendance isn't up to where it could be is because we've never had Nationals? And saying New Orleans counts for that is like saying Ca counts for Midwest.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Well last time anybody heard that the SE didn't have a place to host Nationals was before you had a new kid from TN start hosting tournaments.  I've already talked to a youth minister who has a church building that could easily hold 100 or more people.  Don't doubt the determination of a newcomer!   ;D  You haven't heard the last of the SE (even though I don't think TN is in the SE)!  We are NOT hosting it this year, but between Tyler, Eric, Clift and myself you can't count us out sometime in the near future!

My connection has really big ears and a high-pitched voice.  ;)

Theoretically, if Nats is hosted in a region with low regional attendance then raising attendance from out-of-state requires other attractions.  Orlando has that.

My friend and I can only get the first nine registered tournament participants in to the Disney Parks for free. The rest of you will get a really swell discount.

Also, I can only sleep 15 guests comfortably in my house. The rest of you will have to choose one of the 500 hotels in the Disney area, or just sleep in my pool. Don't worry - it comes with a nightlight.
