If the prize output is increased, then so would the cost for hosting the category. Cactus still needs to be making a profit somehow in order for the game to continue production.

If not double, can it at least be made even numbers across the board?

If not double, can it at least be made even numbers across the board?Wonderfully put, which helps explain some of the problem. Two players cannot split one "Victory card", nor can they divide 3 packs or a $9 Redemption Cash certificate. Why not increase packs to an even number, and increase Redemption cash to something like $10, and send TWO $5 certificates? Otherwise my partner and I have to work out who is going to give the other cash to buy out their share of the Redemption Cash. It is VERY inconvenient. If we want this type of event to see a lot of play, as I do because I enjoy it quite a bit, let's take away those things that discourage players from participating in it.
In most tournaments I have been at, one person takes the "winner card" and the other person gets the 1 extra pack. Everyone has seemed pretty happy with that arrangement.
What's going to happen when we win with our Noah decks in Teams?

Prof U =/= Prof A. One is smarter and way better looking than the other. Out of my great humility, I will refrain from specifying which one, so as to avoid hurting Mark's feelings.
