Looks great Bill. Also, to all Twin Cities players, I am trying to organize a Local tournament for either Oct. 23rd or 30th that would be held near my apartment (Northeast Minneapolis close to the fairgrounds). If you think you might be able to come, let me know which date works best for you. It will be the first tournament with me as the host, so I'm hoping people can make it. More info will come when I get the application process complete.

Any day but Monday, Wednesday, or Friday works for me pretty much that whole month. I'll almost definitely be there.

It's only one week sooner than last years. Weather will be fine. Global Warming you know. Justin Alstad had to miss it the last couple years because of a church retreat. So we moved it back one week so he could make it. I think we will have another good turnout this year. The winner of the type two only tournament has always won Nationals. So if you want to win Nationals you have to make the Feburary Tournament.

That's not quite right. The winner of the Type 2 only tournament has won nationals the last 3 years. Four years ago (2007) I won the T2 local and didn't play T2-2P at Nationals. The year before that (2006) Justin won the T2 local and finished 4th at nationals in T2-2P.

It is true that every players that has won the T2 local has gone on to win T2-2P at nationals, just not necessarily in the same year.

Your right I forgot that we had the first one in 2006. I knew Justin won one. And now I remember that Minnesota adopted you because you won 2 in a row.

But I can say all the Type Two only winners have been from MN

And because Tim didn't play T2 2P at 2007 Nationals, the 2nd place player at the 2007 T2 only Local (me) won Nationals

So it still holds true that for the past 4 years the highest finisher of the T2 only to play at Nationals has won Nationals.

Quick question: Why is there no tournament in March? Just one game night? Does that have something to do with spring break? Or is everyone still going to be worn out from the T2?

Normally we schedual the type 2 tournament the first Saturday in March but Justin couldnt attend the last 2 years because of going on a retreat that is always held that weekend. So we moved it up one week. March Schedual is usually light because of our churches big Easter production and we can't always use the facilities.
