Why the change?
PA Gov. Tom Wolf has begun closing PA back down and we are not allowed to have a gathering exceeding 25 people in PA.

Several options have been considered - everything from canceling, postponing and limiting the field to just 25 people.  In the end this gives us the most normalcy in this weird circumstance.

If you purchased airline tickets to BWI, Finksburg MD is even closer to BWI airport than Hanover.  Your flight itinerary to BWI will work perfectly.

I know this is not the ideal situation, however God is making a way where there seemed to be no way!

Blessings,
Josiah Beers

WELCOME TO ALL!!  We have been out of the Redemption community for tooooo long.  We used to host monthly locals and even held States (with much help from Roy!!) at our church.  My son, Jadon, and I were already planning to come to Nats this year.  We just could not pass up the chance to see some old friends since the tournament was so close to home (even closer now lol).  As we were talking about the upcoming tournament, I mentioned that I would really like to get back into playing, pull together a play group and start hosting locals again, this time at our house instead of at church. (Our gaming space at church is no longer available and the house is set up way better anyway.)  Jadon said he had been wanting to start back for some time now also.  I thought perhaps at Nats God would guide us to finding some support to get started again. - - - Yea, I guess He didn’t want us to wait that long.  (Josiah Beers has already been a great encouragement.  I look forward to relearning Redemption with the help of his play group.)   Funny how sometimes God speaks quietly and other times He is much more blunt.  When Roy asked me if our church could be used for Nats, I knew our home was much better suited.  I also knew without a doubt God was leading us to open our home for the Redemption community (He had already been pulling on my heart and the heart of my son.)  Everything we have belongs to the Lord and we are to be good stewards of it.  Several years ago we felt God calling us to a “season of hospitality”. (All of us are to be hospitable, but this was to be a life focus/ministry for us) Romans 12:13 says “Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” (also 1 Tim 5:10, Heb 13:2,  3 Jn 1:8 and 1 Pet 4:9) We built our home to serve that ministry.  Our house has been home to Bible study, Fellowship nights, and too many church/youth functions to count, including 4 months of church services when our church flooded.  Now it is time for Redemption to have a home here for as long as God would lead.  I NEVER THOUGHT He would kick it off with NATS though!   It is TRULY our joy and honor to welcome all of you to our home.  I am humbled as I see God’s leading unfold.  I am SOOOO THANKFUL to serve a God who has everything in HIS hands.  (And gives us a shove, every now and then, when we need it because we are moving too slow!)  I look forward to seeing you all.

Feel free to contact me with Venue, Meal or Lodging questions. dimaggiocrew@yahoo.com  I will get back to you as soon as I can.  Please be patient with me though, I am finishing up an apartment over my garage to house a friend in need moving in August 1.  I will only be able to check emails in the evening and may not be able to get on every evening.

I plan to have a meal schedule and cost by the end of next week so people can plan.

God Bless,
Mrs. Ginger DiMaggio

Let us all support Josiah's advice and wear masks in the hangout areas and when moving about. I personally urge all to strictly wear masks in the tournament hall. Josiah already mentioned in the PA thread to make sure we we wipe/sanitize our tourney table areas after each round. Bring your own sanitizing materials please. Thanks and Godbless.

I have caught up on replies.  If you sent me a message and did not get a reply I did not see it,  PLEASE message me again .  It GREATLY helps to have "Redemption" as at least part of your memo line so I can search "Redemption" and find all emails at once and not have to sort through tons of junk mail.   ;)

BOOSTER AND SEALED ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

We are pleased to finally announce the official plan for Booster and Sealed.

Booster will cost $40.00 dollars and will include 8 super booster packs of Lineage of Christ per person.
  • Players will each receive 1/3 of a Booster Box - statistically speaking each person should average pulling 1 Ultra Rare which covers the cost of the Booster in Value straight up!
  • Players who play Booster can play in LoC Only Constructed on Saturday for free!
  • This Booster has a retail value of $64.00 meaning your getting 80 new cards at $24.00 less then retail
  • Booster being on Thursday allows for people to trade cards and build a deck for LoC constructed!
  • You will be allowed to use Meek Lost Souls from any previous set regardless of Testament or Art
  • Sleeves are required per usual

Sealed will cost $20.00 and include either the I or J starter deck and 3 Super Booster Packs of Lineage of Christ per player.
  • Players who play in Sealed can play in LoC Only Constructed on Saturday for free!
  • Sealed is a great category for new players to begin to learn the game and get a grasp of the mechanics!
  • Sleeves are required per usual

***Disclaimer - if we get ridiculous numbers of players for booster we may have to reduce the pack numbers, we would also reimburse players at the cost of $5.00 per pack reduction.  We would need to see an excess of 40 people playing booster to even need to consider this issue, I just don't want anyone to be caught off guard if this happens.

Don't forget you need a deck list for all of your decks.  If you want to write them up before you arrive please visit http://landofredemption.com/?page_id=6723 to get the downloads!

How do deck lists work for booster?  Do we just come with a blank list and then fill it in?

I'm pretty sure we don't require decklists for sealed and booster.

I'm pretty sure we don't require decklists for sealed and booster.

These are the two exceptions.  All other categories do require one as you build it yourself before you play.

8 is when check ins will begin. Anyone not checked in by 8:45 will not be playing. 8 or 8:30 is up to you but don’t be late at the 8:30 time.
