Now that we are only just over two weeks away from Nationals, I've been wondering,

1) Will there be a limit on how many packs of the special print of CoW we will be able to purchase, and, if there is a limit, will it be lifted on the final day?

2) Will people that place be able to choose either regular or special CoW packs as prizes?

3) Will the first place finishers in each category have the option of getting a regular set of CoW ULs, or the full art versions?

4) Is the option of getting the CoW ULs instead of the 1st place packs only available for people who place in categories at Nats, or will it also be available for people who place 1st in RNRS points as well?

I'll do my best to answer these questions for you and the rest of the community. I helped Rob plan some of this but I don't necessarily know all the details.

1) Assuming Rob does things the same way that he's handled all other new releases at Nationas - Yes, there will be a limit. I cannot say what that will be but I can speculate that it will be ~6 packs per person to start with. Limits have always been lifted on the final day.

2) This is an unknown and has varied from year to year. Sometimes winners were allowed to choose the new set for half of their winnings. Other years they were not an option. There might have been some years that they were allowed for 100%. Sorry, that's not very helpful. I guess if you win you'll find out and until then it doesn't really matter anyway, right? 

3) I believe Rob has the regular print ultra rare set for winners but I could be mistaken about that.

4) Receiving an ultra rare set in lieu of packs is only available for category winners. To the best of my knowledge it is not an option for RNRS winners.

5) Yes, they are functionally the same as the already released cards and therefore tournament legal.

6) Yes, I split them off into a new thread.

What will booster draft be like? what packs will be drafted??

I've heard that both Rob and Doug will be attending Nationals for at least a day.

Yes.  These are essentially the same cards. But, with special borders (or no borders in the case of the UR's).  I can think of no reason not to allow them.

I have heard from Travis that Doug Gray may be coming.  I hope he can make it.

As for myself, I just got back from Chicago last night after a week long trade show.  My plan, is to arrive at Nationals late Wednesday.  I should be there all day Thursday and Friday.  I may need to leave earlier Saturday but, should be there part of the day.
