Continuing the tradition looking at the top representatives of each class, we have some new names this year (in red) and of course a new Rookie of the Year:Quote from: Prof Underwood on June 02, 2011, 02:14:35 PMHere's an interesting stat:Highest ranked player based on their first year of earning any RNRS points:2002 - John Michaliszyn2003 - Justin Alstad2004 - Ben Shadrick2005 - Andrew Wester2006 - Gabe Isbell2007 - Mark Underwood2008 - Robert Mulye2009 - Ben Michaliszyn2010 - Jonathan Majus2011 (AKA Rookie of the Year) - Randall Koutnik
Chris Bany should be on that list for 2001 Mark.
Its always an honor to see that list and be surrounded by some great players.
Mark why are a few of the players in red?
If he did attend, that makes 4 consecutive years of 0 RNRS points between years of ranking. I wonder if anyone has that beat.
Longer scoreless streaks:Kansas' Stephen Nesfeder ties this run, not scoring between 2004 and 2010.
Brian Cooper is in the top 100 all-time RNRS scorers, despite only getting points in 2002 and 2008. This ties the other runs, but with impressive endpoints.
If im not mistaken I should have points from 2001... I have a couple of the old school Lost Soul and Burial Winner Promos which were given out before the "gold border" promos were released and im pretty sure they werent given out till 2002. I also started playing at the same time both Bryon and Chris Ramesy started playing I know I had to have won some lol I actually found this stuff on Bryons Websitehttp://redemptionca.com/california/tournaments/results_of_past_tournaments.htmLocal TournamentDecember 12, 2001
