Just be glad you didn't have to prepare your wedding 13 months ahead of time to ensure that you were able to reserve everything...it was such an odd feeling to be planning a wedding and not being officially engaged...seriously Nationals should have been in like March in 2008

That is a question, not a sentence. "Is" is the verb.

Unless, you are asking where "the verb" is in your question, which is tricksy. In that case, "the verb" is slightly nearer the middle of your question.

And if you were asking about the verb in my sentence, see STAMP's reply. It was an exclamation with an partially invisible exclamation point. In exclamations, it is OK to have an understood "That was a" before the exclamation. That was the case in my rendering of the prof's exclamation. The understood "was" was the verb.
