True enough. My point was that you get a reputation pretty quickly and don't ever really shake it.  :)

I'm just proud to see TKP all growed up and pwning trollz :tear:
Sig steal!

*Tips hat* We took trolling to an art. We now use our trolling skills to pwn wanna-be trollz, though some we let alone due to thier level of troll skillz(Sauce, I'm looking at you.). Anyways, our past was a bunch of kids just having fun, and despite our diversities, meshing and becoming friends. We all grew exponentially from it. My screenname is still a tip of the hat at our old group. Look at the capitals in my name and you'll see (My Initials from the old board were RR).

TKP was the biggest bunch of troublemakers ever. The other members and I probably would have been banned (at least temporarily) under the current standards (and some of us actually were, though never permanently). But we were a lot more skilled than the wanna-be trollers we have running around today and rarely (if ever) were malicious about our spamming/trolling.

Now, we're still fun-loving and indulge in an occasional really really good troll/spam, but we're not troublemakers anymore. Our reputation has gone from "oh no, them again, plz assist needs ban," to fairly well-respected (I think...;D). So while you have a reputation as an annoying spammer now, you're not stuck with that stigma (although it will take a while). Good use of the English language including punctuation and grammar is a HUGE plus.

my reputation changed a bit, I think. I went from a little King Jo kid who spammed but didn't know what spam was, and my reason for playing redemption over magic was because it's Christian, to a slightly older Ring Wraith guy who spams (sometimes....okay, well a lot, but I don't really troll...) but now knows what spam is, and my reason is now because it's fun. I also have better spelling than I used to...

See what I mean about shaking a reputation? Raven, a year or so ago, spammed a lot, and now, since he's been back, I've actually enjoyed his posts. But notice how everyone is still -1ing his posts like crazy?

And notice that his posts still have bad grammar and improper English? It is impossible to shake a bad reputation without intelligent-looking English. Not perfect or even high-school-paper acceptable, but you'll always be treated as a nubcake when your posts have no punctuation or capitalization.

Just because you don't care doesn't mean others don't. Really, that is all the +-1 system is: others conveying their feelings (what they care about) in your post.
