It's about the flesh, the "old man." Inside each of us is a bunch of desires aka human nature. On our own, we can't control it and if we allow it to control us, it's quite easy for it to consume us. Instead, we need the Lord's help to get it under control. Yeah, in the Bible it says that "the old man has passed away" but our flesh still fights us. You think that Satan's going to give up on us just because we became Christians? No! In fact, we get attacked all the more because we have the potential to be used by God to change other's lives. I see this song as a description of the fight that goes on inside me just about every day. I'm powerless to control what I can become on my own. I can't do it without God and this song reminds me of that. If you personally feel like it's describing demonic possession, that's your opinion, but it's not accurate.

Everything except Casting Crowns. They're the worst and if I could I would ship them to the deepest darkest part of Africa so they could only annoy the dinosaurs that live there with their singing.

I don't think Casting Crowns is that bad. I like some of their songs but most of them are too dull and repetetive for me.
