Thomas Kincade is definitely one of my favorite Christian Artists... As for bands, I like the WWJD ones that come in different colors.-C_S
Has anyone mentioned the Newsboys yet? That is the only band I listen to.

DC Talk is the only legendary band of Christian music (IMO). people like Keith Green are, but as far as bands go, DC Talk is where it's at.

Their legend continues with the success of TobyMac, and Tait's addition to the Newsboys (I like their new song "Born Again" which sounds like a DCTalk song). However, there have been other "legendary" Christian bands in the mainstream, namely Petra. Petra started back in the 70's and was still a major force into the turn of the century. With Greg X Voltz as the lead singer, they cranked out many top hits, but when John Schlits took over, they really became the voice of Christian rock. They were the standard that all other bands were measured by. Interestingly, Petra was formed and produced by John Elefante while he was still a member of the secular group Kansas.
The supertones were a very solid Christian band for many years. If you haven't listened to their music before, I would highly recommend you give them a listen.Daniel
