I've read the first two, does it really connect to them at all?I'm currently reading Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. dork. Didn't care a whole lot for Scott's movie, but the book is pretty god so far, and makes far more sense. I'm also about to re-read G. K. Chesterton's The Man Who was Thursday, as I didn't really "get it" when I read it in high school.

But its great book.Fascism is right-wing, actually.Fascism is left-wing, actually. It the other side of the coin of communism. The Nazi were the "Nationalist Socialist Party".Libertarians are far right wing, but they are like herding cats

From Glen becks book Common Sense. I hope this book serves as solid starting point in your journey to learn more about your country, its history, and what it needs to be one to put her back on course. But this book can be only that: a starting point. You must continue your education and learning that you will recongnie those people whose plans and policies promote personal freedom and responsibility, along with danger signs of those whoses policies will do the apposite. These books are just few that I have read over past twive months and have really opend my eyes. Thr3e by Ted Dekker.
Quote from: lightningninja on August 04, 2009, 05:05:57 PMThr3e by Ted Dekker.hated the book, hated the movie. Ted Dekker's worst book.although I have heard of people who think it's brilliant, I think it's fail...
Is Ted Dekker a christian?
I really liked Thr3e. He completely convinced me that the solution he chose should be completely discounted before revealing it was the only possibility. The movie, however, was fail, as was the film for House. He doesn't write very visually, so the films don't work.
Woo, Boethius' Consolation of Philosophy!/nerdfest
Then you're in denial. Accept your nerd-hood.
Your problem is that you can't conceive of a nerd that chicks dig.
Quote from: Tsavong Lah on August 08, 2009, 06:07:33 PMYour problem is that you can't conceive of a nerd that chicks dig.No, I'm more citing the difference between the nerd and the Renaissance men. The nerd isn't cultured, the Renaissance man is.
