Uhm... no it's not. Halloween originated NOT even close to a Christian holiday. In fact, many of the origins have to do with demons and spirits. I'll try to get concrete facts soon.

To say that it is the "celebration of the resurrection of the dead" is a made-up statement trying to justify something that has horrific origins involving child sacrifice, demon worship, and burning.
