So, Ping is basically facebook/twitter/whatever for iTunes.... Why do we need another social networking feature? Can't you already link stuff like that 5 different ways to 10 different places?

Not necessarily. Right now, Myspace Music is still the place to go and listen to people. There are a few bands that are putting it on facebook, but Myspace is easier. I don't have a myspace account, but I have WCAR's Myspace bookmarked. I would prefer if the music center moved to iTunes Ping, and have Facebook be for people, not artists.
