Visit Orlando

Although I do not frequent the Message Boards anymore, I want to reiterate my standing offer to have any of you come visit Orlando and stay in my guest room (rather than pay for a hotel). The guest room has a private bath and is adjacent to the kitchen. There is a queen bed and a double bed in the room. Do not feel that you will be intruding. My wife and I are in agreement that God gave us this beautiful home to be used for His purposes.

There is a possibility that I can get small groups of people into the Disney Parks for free, but I can make no promises. At the very least, you can enjoy the Florida weather (sunny and 85 today), and take a dip in my pool. Naturally we can play Redemption and perhaps even hold an impromptu tournament for official points (thanks to Rob's generosity).

PM me if you will be in the area. If you would like to be our guest, then give me as much advance notice as is possible to avoid conflicts.
My wife is a hottie.

Hmm... I might consider stopping by on my way back from Virginia in April.  I will let you know!  By the way, how are you and how is your wife?  Has the new addition to the family made a safe and uneventful arrival?

Just as a testimonial, my wife and I took YMT up on this offer about a year ago and had a wonderful experience.  They were great hosts, and we really enjoyed our time together.  We had a Redemption tournament one day, which was a lot of fun getting to know many of the guys from the Florida playgroup there (and playing with my Buckler offense).  We did end up getting to go to Disney 1 day, and we of course loved that.  Tim has a sweet family, and anyone would be blessed to get to spend a day or two with them.  So if you're going to be in the area, send him a PM :)

I can't wait to get over my utter poorness and grab the first flight, Tim!

If Claude, Reggie, and Christian all volunteer to take turns driving with me, I might seriously consider making a trip - lol.  Pray!

We'll be spending time with my grandmother sometime this summer.  I'll let you know when we've got more details.

Now, if only she had a home in Florida too.

I think that's the plan.  I think I'll do a bit better than the last time I played Roy.

If ever there is a debate tournament in Florida... I will severely consider this. =) Very generous offer.

I've only been in Florida once, and that was a taxi ride from the port to airport, so I haven't seen much.  Though it seems nice and warm compared to the five inches of snow we're getting.

It is. Florida has 3 types of weather(Barring Hurricanes), Nice, Hot, and Egg fry. Of which rain could be a part of any of them.
