will redemption cash be redeemable for disciples at nats? after? what was the policy regarding redemption cash and texp last year?

It was either that a % of the price of Disciples could be in R-Cash, or it was cash only.  I'm pretty sure it was cash only or I would have spend the R-Cash I got immediately.

If I remember correctly, to get the new product to nationals, Rob had to air freight a bunch of the product from asia.  That was very expensive.  To recoup those costs, he required mostly cash for that shipment.

Once the main shipment arrived on the slow boat from China, he began accepting Redemption cash.

I don't know if the slow boat will arive in time for nats this year or not.  He may air freight a few cases just to be sure to have some for nationals.

Last year, Rob was gracious to allow players to redeem Redemption cash for 1/3 of the total price of product.  For example, players who bought 3 packs ($15) could use $5 of Redemption cash towards the purchase.  I would not expect him to do the same this next year, but that is what happened last year.
