He's going to need a lot more than one tin for just Rome.
Well, he'd better start soon, Rome wasn't built in a day.
Phil's better imo.
Hey guys,I haven't been around here too much recently, and in case anyone's curious I'll give a quick update on what's going on.After Nationals 2008, I stopped playing Redemption - with no Redemption group in the area but active board gaming groups, I have been spending my time with that instead. I haven't sold or gotten rid of my cards or anything at this point, but I am barely aware of the TxP cards and haven't really been looking for any Disciples info at all. I occasionally visit the boards to give a snarky response for something, but that's about it.A couple months ago, I lost my job here in South Carolina because I had not really been doing it very well. However, family/friend connections have secured me a job in Connecticut set to start very soon - I'm starting my drive up there tomorrow, and will be living in CT for the forseeable future. The job is exciting stuff, but I'm also excited to be back in CT, where I have plenty of friends and family - I never really felt at home here in Charleston, finding a couple game buddies and some pleasant people at church but not much more than that in two years. My living in CT also means I can probably make it to Nationals in Massachusetts. Being way out of practice and having no new cards, I don't expect to defend my title, but it'll be nice to see people again and get a neat custom card (how soon do I have to get on that?). Depending on how life and Redemption interest proceed, I might could* rejoin a playgroup and get back in the game. Or maybe I'll sell all my collection to someone at Nationals. Who knows? This is way more boring than I like my posts to be, so I'll end with a limerick. There once was a man from NantucketPocket full of posiesAlong came a spiderWho sat down beside herAnd the dish ran away with the spoon.- Tim Mierz etc.*proof I lived in the South
Where in CT? You know that Roy loves CT and visits there often, especially a certain Christian School in Trumbull. Good luck with the move. I would help you with your furniture, but I went the other way (CT -> FL).
