sooo i was wondering if anyone knows how to change a dropped d tuning or any other tuning to standard on guitar pro 5. help is appriciated. thanks.

Drop "D" is for wusses.

However, open "E" and open "D" are not.

EDIT: I haven't used guitar pro much but I'd assume from the look of it that you'd just have to convert the notes in your head to standard.

blah. btw i don't like drop d either. i a mdownloading tabs from the web, but they are where i can't play them without retuning :P it stinks.

It doesn't make sense that you can't change the tuning.

i have the ability to retune my bass, my dad just told me not to so i don't pop a string or something :P. anyways it would take much to long to totally redo the tab

true, true lol  ;D idk i am just gonna listen to my dad for now. plus i am selling that bass soon. don't wanna have to waste another string on it b4 i sell it. after i sell it i may get a Fender Squier P-Bass.

As a keyboard player, I never have to change the tuning. I play everything as God intended. :p

fresno that was good. btw i used to play piano. God likes it when we use our imagination for him though. but i don't think he appriciates using alternate tunings to make things easier lol.

Since I play both piano and guitar (among other things), I have to say that I prefer writing/singing with a piano. I also agree that the piano is a much holier instrument, and to support this claim:
