*everyone goes to the wiki to look at good enhancements from Mark, finds out there are only seven, two of which are the same and says, "Darn."*

Rob wants feedback and proofreading, so be sure to check out the new cards!

Greeks! Clay Missionaries! But the most eye-catching for me on a quick glance -- Angry Mob(s) and Shipwreck!  :o

I'm glad he posted these for everyone to take a look at, as obviously not everything can be caught in smaller playtesting (learned at Nats).  These cards are still being discussed and reviewed at the moment, and so if you see anything that needs polished up, please post it!  I'll contact some mods in the New Cards forum and see if we can get some structure set up for feedback...

Eye On It , The Roman Jailor, and Shipwreck are all awesome!

I do feel that the art on Spirit of Fear is borderline-inappropriate, with the demon being on top of the woman who's laid out on her bed...to be more appropriate for all audiences I think it should be switched.

The art I chose for my version of spirit of fear would be much more family friendly.

I realize that the playtesters probably feel it would be weird to capitalize "god" in "The god of This World," but it looks awkward and is not grammatically correct as it is now. I think we should either just capitalize it with the knowledge that that is how the English language works, or change the name so it isn't grammatically correct.

There's absolutely nothing sexual about it whatsoever.

We could change it to... oh, I dunno... Prince of This World...

I know it's a matter of opinion, but I still just wanted to share that I really think that it looks inappropriate.

Here are some other potential needed changes I found going through the set. Some were already suggested by others on FB:

Letters to the Thessalonians —> change “Thessalonian” to “Thessalonica” (see Jason)
Shrine to Artemus —> Shrine to Artemis
Missionary Ship —> by-line should have a hyphen in-between “Set” and “Aside"
Silas —> “topdeck up to X cards from bottom of YOUR deck"
Timothy —> art should be updated
Barsabbas —> there is no Letter to Gentile Believers
Fortunatus —> special ability is unfinished
Noblewomen —> should it be “Noble Women”?
Faithfulness —> does “withdraw” include underdeck?
Self Control —> should have a hyphen between the words in the Card Name/Title
Stand Firm —> should “heretic” be capitalized?
Demetrius the Silversmith —> “characters” should be capitalized
Seized by Rioters —> should be 2/2, 2 heroes and 2 turns, if basing it off of the verse, because only 2 men were dragged along (Gaius and Aristarchus)
Worldly Wisdom —> should “scholar” and “philosopher” be capitalized?
Antonius Felix —> there is no Drusilla
The god of this World —> draws 1 fewer, not less
Shipwreck —> capitalize “site”

The gods of Egypt, way back from Pats, did the same thing.

I agree that it's incorrect, but there is precedent.

I have always felt that to capitalize God's name and pronouns is a way to honor His uniqueness and greatness. We find this standard in English translations. For example, the most sacred name of God is shown in some English Bibles with all caps; LORD. As there are no other god's before our LORD, they should all be lower case, no matter what.

This of course is from a theologian who isn't too concerned about the grammar police.

I always found it weird to capitalize pronouns referring to God. I have no problem with LORD being all caps because that has to do with a standardized way of saying God's name (or the one he commonly used in the Old Testament) that sometimes a taboo to actually say it (although I have to admit that it always confused me as to why). I also have no issue with capitalizing the word 'god' if grammar rules would capitalize any other word. Basically I don't see why capitalization signifies reverence, or at least I find it strange that it does.
If you are reading this signature, thank a physicist.
