it won't be long til football is here so let's get crackin and start building up the football spirit

college team to win this year?

pro team to win this year?

i think the vikings or the cowboys will be victorious in the NFC and either the bengals or chargers for the AFC
and to win it all i say chargers but i'm always going for the ravens or titans
but i sure hope the saints can get a dynasty going cause they need more championships under their belt

as for college i really think the crimson tide will win again this year but i hope the Volunteers take it all the way and win the national game

and for thanksgiving it'll be first

Patriots VS Lions

ok im gonna sound crazy but i think the Lions will beat the patriots

College: University of Washington Huskies

Jake Locker is perhaps the best QB in the country, and now that he is a senior, the time to shine has come. He wants to solidify his position as the NFL's #1 pick next year.

Pro: New England Patriots

Tom Brady has decided to give up the glitzy Hollywood life with his supermodels in order to avert getting beat up in the locker room. He's ready to get serious again.

That was my point. His teammates were not happy that he was not able to lead the team without Wes Welker. He has to whip himself back into his old form, otherwise the O-Line will let him get stomped by the Lions.

there's more to the lions then we know

i mean they have some good players who can be a key to their success
i really think they'll start out bad throughout pre-season and maybe a few games in the regular season but as the season goes on, they'll get better and better and when thanksgiving comes, the lions might be ready for the patriots to where the lions can beat the patriots even with a more serious tom brady

I agree that every fan should hold out hope for their team. The 2004 Red Sox gave hope to every team. No obstacle is above overcoming.

and not only that YMT but they broke a curse

so if they can, why not the chicago cubs?

my goal in this thread to try and get people in the spirit for football and start up discussions in this thread.
i really hope the TN Titans can pull off a big year this year and win the SB
we seriously need a championship besides the AFC champs trophy from like 11 years ago that we still have

I predict Adrian Peterson will lead the league in tackles.
As a national champion, I support ReyZen deck pouches.

I called Colts and Saints last year at the beginning of the season with the Saints winning. I like them both, but my Colts are gonna have to lay some stompy down on the league this year.

I haven't looked into the polls or anything too much yet to say who's gonna get it this year.

On a side note... I was lazing around today... Bored as ever when I remembered why I was so bored on a Saturday afternoon...
College football hasn't started yet.

I'm so pumped for the football season to start. It's basically my life...

Now... If only I could find a way to get my hands on both Madden and NCAA this year... Hmm...

FYI, we're talking about football, not basketball.  ;)

Interestingly, one of my fellow teachers used to play football for Duke.

Might as well enjoy the title a bit.  Once the new season starts, then it's too late....even though DUKE will win it again   8)

P.S. The U vs those buckeyes should be one of the best games of the season

Gotta say colts.  I really think they can do it again. as for the nfc, I think the vikes are good to go if they get favre back, otherwise it may be  the saints again.

If the bengals get To, then The bengals are a lock to win the AFC North division again.  especially since Pittsburg will probably struggle in their first 4 games because someone cant keep his pants zipped up... ::)

For College.  I am a ND fan and think they will do well.  Probably a BCS bowl.  The Championship will have to go to either Alabama or Washington.  Both of those teams are pretty solid.
