 Why does everyone treat me like I don't matter? I'm starting not to like a large majortiy of the boards and people treating my opinion like it's dirt doesn't help matters. If your gonna treat me like I'm nothing even when I'm on the side of respected board members like pol and others I might as well leave. ATM ROOT is the only reason I brother comeing on anymore.

RED, you matter.  Whether you matter in a good way or in a bad way is up to you.

I am sorry if you feel like I don't value you.  That has never been my intent.  I do take the comments made by people on this board seriously.  Perhaps too seriously at times.  If you want your opinion to be given serious consideration, then how you present it makes a huge difference.  A helpful, patient attitude goes a long way in getting your opinion a full consideration.

Yeah, if you want to be respected, then you need to show some respect. I was pretty surprised with your comment on the other thread as well. That was totally uncalled for.

Just a note, taking the side of "respected board members" may not be the path to success.  Pol quite often takes the contrary stance to what the elders think, and that's not a good place to be.

I also bring to mind the post on the nationals announcement, and agree with the Lambo that to receive respect, you need to show it. You have been a part of the boards for a long time, and I'd hate to see you leave because of feeling disrespected.

I think that way as well without pol's opinion quite often. But I do apogize it's just that anytime Job gets help or something that's been the same way forever gets changed I get upset as I happen to hate Job decks. But that's off-topic.

It's actually not off topic at all. Your reactions to rulings you disagree with should be no different than rulings you agree with in your actions. Your respect level should always be the same whether you agree or disagree.

Being able to respectfully state your opinion is a massive skill that people take years to master.  Don't be discouraged that you haven't perfected it yet, but always be looking for ways to improve.

Rule #1: Don't directly attack anyone.  There may be exceptions to this, but for now, try to follow this rule.
