If I were you, the first thing I would do is make the best deck you can with what you know and have, and then we can advise you on what to change and why. This is something you'll probably have to do anyway, and it's the best way to both learn and teach. :)

type 2 = find a combo that is strong in type 1 and lame it do death.

Example
pale green defense
12x wc pg evil  charcters
5x forgoten history
5x 2k horses
5x DOU

that is
27 cards is a garunteed 10 blocks along with extra drawing.   

AS you get more advanced you will probably stray from find a kill card and put 5 in but at the start its a decent way to do it.

The only thing I can suggest is you have to be able to play enhancements.  Weapons, pre-block plays and any special abilities that let you play first are good.
