My evaluation (my opinion)Multi- is usually a relaxed category. It can be competitive when everyone playing understands the etiquette of multi but that doesn't seem to happen very often. Mostly you have to be willing to have fun talking and playing with others in a relaxed setting.
T1-Multi is always the most cutthroat category.
It can be unbearably frustrating when just one person doesn't understand the etiquette, which is almost always.
You absolutely must be ready for shameless favoritism/targeting, relentless dominant dropping if one person even suspects you might be getting a lead, and getting into 3 on 1 scenarios.
You could easily have the best deck in the category and lose.
Truer words in Redemption were ne'er spoken: Friends don't let friends play T1-multi

It can be unbearably frustrating when just one person doesn't understand the etiquette, which is almost always. This makes it the least competitive category. If you don't have a teammate, I'd say play sealed. If you don't want to spend the extra for that, but really must play, then play multi only if you're desperate. This is all opinion, of course. I know some people disagree with me on this, but there are flavors of ice cream I won't eat.
