Is it necessary to start 3 threads, all of which deal with the Yankees? If they were so "overrated" as raven put it, then why are there 3 bash threads on them. Sorry good samaritan but you have started 2 threads in less than 48 hours I think about the exact same thing. You come off as a 13 year old angry Oriole's fan. Just because your team has not been good since Cal Ripken Jr played, does not mean you should bash a great team. We went over the steroid topic in another thread and there was not much more discussion once I put in facts. And any fan that cheers for a team that wins can be called fair weather fans... but yes I do think the Yankees have a lot of fans that love the history of the team, the players, the pinstripes, and yes the 27 World Championships, but there are more honest and true fans. I have been to plenty of Yankees games, in 3 different states, NY, GA, and FL, and I have never heard a chant of the opposite team stinks, or a certain player stinks coming from the Yankee fans. Yet every time I watch a Boston Red Sox game on TV against the Yanks, I hear the same chant- Jeter stinks, or whoever. If anything the Yank fans boo their own team more than the opposite- this season with Javier Vazquez, but that's about it. I would call Boston fans more arrogant than Yankees. And Raven, the Red Sox are barely above 500 right now, how can they be underrated? Do you even watch baseball? But please, I am a true, bleed white and blue Yankee fan and I will come on every thread that bashes my favorite team and I will defend it with valid points, so please stop making the same exact threads.
