You could just take it to the store instead of trying to replace it yourself. That way, you wont end up breaking it!  ;)

You could just take it to the store instead of trying to replace it yourself. That way, you wont end up breaking it!  ;)
Or you could replace it yourself after looking up videos on youtube on how to do it.

If you have a wet Ipod, stick it in a bowl with a lot of rice to get the water out before you do anything else.

I have a brand new 4th gen ipod nano with a faulty battery... I can either sell it "broken" or replace the battery....

Try and fix it yourself. If it works, you've got your ipod back. If it doesn't, then sell it as broken.

My brother who isn't on the forum anymore (JDiz) has successfully replaced batteries in Ipods before. I can ask him if he can get in touch with you to offer advice and suggestions.
