Mine was accidentally doing a front-flip over the handles of my bike and having the bike land on me. :P

I had a similar experience, when I was younger I was riding my bike and remembered that I wasn't wearing my helmet!
So I slammed on my front wheel brake, thus flying over the handlebars, landing on the gravel, and hurting for weeks  ::)

I was swinging on the swings at my after school day care while I was in elementary school.  The swings were over asphalt (not the smooth kind).  One of my favorite things to do was when I got to the top, I would lean my head back and watch the ground come closer as I swung backwards (how many of you remember doing that).  Well, one time, the swing seat wasn't as high off the ground as it needed to be.

After the pain and having almost half my face ripped off, I learned that rubbing skin against asphalt hurts.

Playing hockey two years ago, I play goalie,  1 guy was coming down the wing with one guy defending. He got around the defender pretty easy but lost an edge an fell down, the d-men fell on top of him they both slid in to my knee. 90% of my body ended up in the net. The other ten percent the lower half of my left leg to be exact) ended up on the outside of the net, with my knee meeting the post, the force of my body going back in to the net, the other guys pushing my foot back on the other side of the pipe. 3 torn ligaments, partially torn tendon, torn meniscus. Had enough adrenaline to finish the last 5 and a half minutes of the period, collapsed on the way back to locker room. Luckily I only felt it for about 30 seconds before passing out. 3 surgeries and a ton of vicodin later I can walk, I can run, I can play hockey, just only for about an hour at a time. Anything after that and I'm screamin for morphine.

More embarrassing than painful. While paintballing, my first time..., I was asked if i could get to a certain spot quickly. Having more guts than speed, I took off, only to take one to the face (because the mask didn't cover my whole face).

also, there is a certain escalator in minnesota that brings back painful memories.

It's now actually called the John Nesfeder's Tibia Memorial Escalator.

Aside from not being able to see Andrew at MN State this year, probably the most painful experience I've had is having mononucleosis and strep throat simultaneously all the while missing an important deadline for my research and being in one of the most gorgeous places in North America. The whole week was pretty much awful.

I once asked a girl out and got rejected. I ordered 80 McNuggets and drove off to Burger King were special orders don't upset them.

Yeah, I kind of rode my sisters bike, after she told me not to, and the chain came lose (was standing up, and leaning forward) and bam.

I have a 3.5" scar on my right wrist from when I was 3 or 4. I was inside, my brother and sister were outside.... and a locked glass screen door stood in my way. I banged on that door like no child has banged on a door before.... then I was suddenly in the porch. I felt nothing until i looked down at the giant bleeding gash in my wrist, and the wave of pain kicked in.

That's the earliest memory I can visually recall. What they say is true, pain can seriously burn into your memory.

might be burned into your memory, but at least scars are chic magnets.

Me: "yeeeeeeap... got this when i was serving in WW1. An entire airplane landed on my arm...."
Girl: "BUT DIDNT THAT HURT?!"
Me: "I didn't even flinch."
Girl: "OHH YOUR SO BRAVE!"
Random person: "and you're how old again?"
Me: "uhm... oh look at the time, I have to go... uhm... iron my dog now. BYE!"

I heard a Jonas Brothers song once. Idk if I'll ever recover.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
