This is terrible....

...it appears there are tons of people (ie: 90% of people who will read that website ;)!) who haven't taken basic chemistry!

Yeah, I used this as an illustration in one of my 11th-12th grade classes and in all but one period I had all of them ready to ban it.  The only class that had any dissenters had only 3-4 students who had heard it before.

A kid did a report on it for the science fair, and won first place. Little more than a class, I think...

That name isn't used very much for this very dangerous substance. You may have heard of it by the term of hydroxylic acid or hydroxilic acid.

Or water - but using this name for this substance is VERY rare.
