the way I view it is like this:
I don't think Halloween is evil. I believe the worlds view of it can be evil/demonic (that doesn't necessarily mean it in itself is evil.) but thats true about most holidays I mean the worlds view of Christmas is a big fat guy in red bringing gifts and commercialism and the whole idea that you have to spend money on people to show them you care thing. the worlds view of Easter is a huge bunny looking for lost Easter eggs. as previously stated in this thread many of these holidays have pagan roots but we as Christians celebrate the true meaning of them. I personally celebrate Christmas and Easter all year round. The way i usually celebrate Halloween is just an excuse to cosplay/dress up and have some fun with friends. I agree that this topic can be a somewhat controversial in the christian realm but i don't think that means we should have it blocked from the boards. I appreciate you sharing your views with us but with all do respect if you think that the topic of Halloween is a stumbling block for you then you could choose not to view or read the topics that talk about it. I hope that nothing I said came off as disrespectful thats just how i see it. ^_^
