Homeschooling is illegal in Germany, a vestige of the Nazi era that has never been corrected. A Christian German family came to the US to protect their opportunity to educate their children, but they now face deportation. There is a petition to the White House asking for permanent asylum for the family. A few thousand more signatures are required for the White House to respond to the petition.
