Bungie Valve Blizzard Cactus Wizards of the Coast obviously need to print more ignore counters. Not preblock, though!

I stopped playing online after facing three consecutive Zebulun Site Lock-Out decks from three different people. There were only a few cards that were different.

I think Warrior's point is that originality has left the game. Someone comes up with a valid combo/strategy, then everybody else who plays it online copies it. Worse yet is that those decks are boring and kill fellowship.

This is not what Redemption is supposed to be. My interest in this game has waned ever since my ROOT experience. The game is simply not fun any more.

T1 is actually pretty boring. T2 is still sweet. That makes me sad beings I'm a much better t1 player than I am a t2 player.

You're the second person who has said this to me recently. I have never played T2, so maybe the time has come.

ANB was only popular in multi. And with the over 9000 counters, it won't be as popular.

As for combo decks, not really. I mean, Sin in the Camp was only played by a handful of people.

T2 FTW.
I lost 7-4 to The Guardian on my first game with a noob deck with an assyrian defense!!!!!!!!!
It is totally luck of the draw, I could have won it if I hadn't made a lot of mistakes.
Try it! :)

if you don't like see'n the same cards over again, I don't think T2 is gonna be any better of an option for you.

With the new set, I actually see a lot more different cards be'n used in T1 then back in the day.

This is part of the reason I hardly look at my cards anymore even if I don't play online plus the elders/PTB are not good rulemakers.

That is why i like both. Since type 1 is boring i try to make a deck that is totally different. Think out of the box. My newest creations were for other people and I was jealous that i didn't use it myself. But type 2 have variants and are able to do more things and i find is more fun but type 1 is more challenging.

YMT, you should play with us in Pompano... We are all the time changing our decks and coming up with new strategies.  Sure, we've tried priests and TGT before, and we'll probably explore this new deck set-up, but that only lasted a few games, and it was different people at different times.  Actually, we found ways to make those decks somewhat pointless because we'd think outside the box, figure out what makes them so good, and build decks that implement better counters in order to take out the key cards...  We'll have to head up to you guys again sometime!

In other words, you guys never saw how powerful TGT was. The selected playgroup didn't exploit it.

T2 FTW.

Hahahaha. It's funny, because T2 is WAY LESS luck of the draw than T1.

QFT. I only saw one SitC deck last year, and nobody else played COMBO COMBO COMBO COMBO CONGO!!!! Nazareth totally changed T2 Multi. The only combo deck that did well at nationals this year was Kirk's. Waay more balanced.

I think it's hilarious how this is exactly opposite of what Pol posted a week ago...

You're missing the point. Winning is not my primary goal. I chose to play Redemption because it was fun and informative (Biblically speaking). I chose to spread the game because I wanted others to have fun and learn more about the people and events of the Bible.

The current state of the game is not fun. The entire focus of the game for the top players has become COMBO, which leads to boring games. You beat me because there was nothing I could do for the whole game. Woo-hoo.

The game needed this to keep the attention and interest of the top players, but in the meantime, the rest of us are losing interest quickly. New players are going to go to one tournament, be bored (while losing), then go home and look for a different game that is fun.

I have not played Redemption for several weeks. My son and I play Kingdom Hearts CCG frequently. The game itself is no longer produced, and there are no tournaments to attend. But we still play..... because it's fun.

I'd say top players have been playing to win since the game was created and they will continue until they quit playing the game.  If your primary goal isn't to win, I'd just enjoy playing whenever you can to have fun and learn more about the people and events of the Bible.

YMT, your point is good about fun. I agree.

However, I disagree entirely that it's about combos. The whole "Nothing I can do" is lame, yes, which is why TGT is bad, but Disciples are stoppable at least...mostly...
