To honestly answer your question, you receive stars/higher 'rank' based on the amount of posts you make on the boards. Your post count can be viewed on your profile. However, as the others have mentioned, please don't spam just to rack up your post count. It annoys everyone and your posts will only end up being deleted. General rule of thumb: if you have something of value to say, then go ahead and post; if not, then don't. :)

just so ya know alpal, the ranks and stars are pointless but to just be there for deceration and show you how dedicated you are in spamming, but around here we don't take kindly to spam, just so ya know so if ya need to say something in thread, say it when it's on topic or off topic in the off topic discussions
