Spiritual Gifts in the Bible
An enhancement is considered a spiritual gift if it represents one of the gifts of the Spirit listed in the Bible. Spiritual gifts can be found in Romans 12. The following are recorded: prophesying (v. 6), serving (v. 7), teaching (v. 7), encouraging (v.
, giving (v.
, leadership (v.
, and mercy (v.
. I Corinthians 12 specifies the following as spiritual gifts: message of wisdom (v.
, message of knowledge (v.
, special faith (v. 9), power to heal the sick (v. 9), ability to perform miracles (v. 10), prophecy (v. 10), discernment (v. 10), and foreign tongues (v. 10). The Redemption® card Spiritual Gifts uses the verse Galatians 5:22-23 which would make the following spiritual gifts as well: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, long-suffering, meekness, and temperance. 1 Corinthians 12:8 lists wisdom.
