Why is Joy not a simple 7/0 enhancement?

It also doesn't appear to be a permanent increase. The colon ( on the card is shorthand for "While placed," so the increase would fall off if Joy is removed from the Hero (much like the protection and CBN-granting part).
Clarifications An ongoing ability paired with a place ability has an implied condition of “while the placed card remains in the placed location.” A colon ( following a place ability is interpreted as: “while this card remains placed in its original location.”
