I'm afraid it won't make it, since it will melt by the time it reaches the Florida border, then evaporate before it gets to me.

If we got Obama out of office we would've repealed the laws thermodynamics by now. Solve our energy crisis while we're at it!

My morning commute wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be; it only took an extra 30 minutes or so. However, the fact that a drive a car that was manufactured when I was 2, before such things as rear defrost were invented, resulted in my rear windshield becoming completely covered within about 10 minutes of me clearing it off. Not sure how much snow we'll end up getting, but I'd bet by the end of it we get 6-8".

Twelve inches of snow sounds like fun. We usually don't get it that bad in the Twin Cities, Northern MN is where it really comes down.

The joy of driving in snow with cars that were manufactured when I was 2 would be rear-wheel drive! Woo-hoo! Of course you would have a hard time finding leaded gasoline for those cars.  :o

My friends back in Connecticut have just finished digging out from their 40 inches of snow as they prepare for the next storm to come in. Stupid groundhog....  :P

Yeah, I live about 6 hrs north of the cities, and we got dumped on hard Sunday/Monday. Missed  1 1/2 days of school, combined with what was a 2 1/2 day school week for girls hockey weekend = a lot of Snowcatting  ;D. We have drifts out by my house that are almost 5 ft.

Found this in my front yard this morning. Does this mean I get to keep it?

Absolutely. You should be able to get it out when the snowbank melts in June.
