To Save A Life...nuff said!

I actually saw that movie twice yesterday (once by myself and once with my wife).  It was a great movie and the second time I caught a couple of things I missed before.  Everyone should go see it (especially if you're still in school).

In a 3D world, Rick Deckard would foolishly be considered a human.

Haha! Precisely. Luckily for us, there was likely no extra information contained within the frames of Avatar. :P

Laura Black (Pam Taylor in To Save a Life) was cast as the mother of a teen in Samuel Seventeen (I DP'd, bro shot), but she later had to decline the part due to date conflict.  Her husband (Trevor Black) was cast as a teacher, as that part didn't conflict.  Having both of them audition at the original casting left the names in my head, so it rung a bell when I saw the IMDB page.

Aha, okay. We only filmed with her for a day or two, but she seemed nice.

Ah, so true...

By the way, have you seen any gems at Sundance?

Well, I've spent the past two days snowboarding. :P

Tomorrow through next Sunday are my movie spree days. I saw Please Give already, which was a premiere and was quite good, but other than that nothing yet.

To Save A Life has to be one of the best movies I have ever seen. Production quality was spectacular. It wasn't your typical cheesy Christian movie. The acting was really good considering that they weren't A-list names. Lots of tough issues dealt with in the film and the reality factor of the film was shocking at times. Our church has really gotten behind it and have bought over 700 tickets to give away in our community to see the film. Kudos to you Lah for being involved in that great movie!!!
