I thought that when you breathed in it turned a fan that made your heart beat.
It sorta does..... ;)

I thought Watergate was a show that for some reason "they" would put on as soon as Bugs Bunny started just to irritate kids

I thought the same thing about The Challenger Spaceship

I used to think that I was part of a government experiment, and that everyone else in the world was just there for aid in the research...although I never stopped to wonder what that experiment was. :P

I thought I was one of the beautiful people... now look at me!  ;D
*screams in horror as he takes the bag off his head*

I know exactly what you mean!  I think it was inspired by that one movie The Truman Show.  I don't know. haha ;D
I think it was a Boy Scout skit.

I used to think I was the only person on earth. Everyone else was my imagination.
I still think that.

I used to think that the devil was more powerful then God, God was just nicer and the good guy so he won in the end.
I used to think that there was something called "magic paper" that whatever you drew on it came to life (and was rather angry at my mother for not buying me some.)
I used to think that cats were smarter than people.
I used to be glad God didn't re-incarnate me into a squirell (though I still believed in heaven at the same time.)
I used to think that drinking soda and beer were equally bad things.
I used to think that people who ate meat were frowned upon by God.
I didn't really think through that bad people went to hell, just that good people went to heaven.
I used to believe that God was going to "zap all the Christians out of their clothes" and that we'd all end up in heaven (except I for some reason had an intuition that I would be left behind.)
I used to run when  Southwest Airlines planes flew over me because I once had a really demonic nightmare about one once (and I often felt like I was running through water when running in real life from them, I told my mom and she told me one of my friends dad's was a pilot for them.)
I used to think that Hitler, Stalin, Hamaan, and Judas all looked exactly the same (and ironically they all looked like Bob Dylan.)
I thought Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan were the same person.
I thought Nick Lowe and Lyle Lovett were the same person.
I thought Elvis Presley was a dork for copying Elvis Costello's name.
I couldn't understand why my mom was angry at my dad for having his new Elvis Costello poster for the single "Distorted Angel" hanging on the wall (which featured a topless woman.) She actually discovered it when she had a large percentage of the women of John Hagee's megachurch over for a bible study. She was pretty ticked.
I also couldn't understand why my mom wouldn't let me sing the lyrics to certain punk songs (I mean, it's just talking about girls in big words that I can't understand, not anything bad.)
I used to think that if you got shot and the bullet went out the other side you'd be okay.

Gandalf the White, here is just a little bit of forum ediquitte.  When a thread had been dead for a long time, please don't necropost (restart thread with no new info.)  It just isn't proper.

Just MHO, but you need to slow down on your posting.  Before you post, really ask yourself if your post (especially on old posts) contains new and interesting info.  If it doesn't, or it is just a "lol" or a "=D", don't post.  Don't spam, and people will love you. ;)

"This post belongs to Peter Frampton!"

"Peter Frampton is dead, and so are all of his grandchildren!"

"Then it belongs in a museum!"

"Dr. Jones sit down!"

It is either Indiana (normally played by Harrison Ford) or Henry (normally played by Sean Connery).

People are congratulated for digging up old stuff like bones. That is a relic. I like finding relics. Neco posting is what I did. I am now against it since I know what it is. That help?

The difference between old bones and old posts is that old posts contribute little or nothing to science.

I used to think that parents bought newborn babies from a gigantic store and could return them whenever. I thought my parents might return one of my brothers at some point because they annoyed me.

They still annoy me at times, but now I know that it's a brotherly way to show love (usually). I'd also rather have them tease me than completely ignore me like some siblings.
