Soak a chicken in buttermilk. Roll it in crushed chips. Fry it. Or just go to roscoe's if you're lazy like me.

Chicken and Waffles are soul food, just because you think it's weird doesn't mean their isn't a (rather large) market.

Said market is mainly in the NE. My part of the south would look at you like you are crazy if you suggested Chicken and Waffles.
