Everyday I'm shuffling, and it takes for ever!

My freinds and I take way too long to shuffle our decks because we don't all of our lost souls grouped together and things like that. So my question is, how do you shuffle your deck and/or what is the best way to shuffle a deck? I'm talking about type 1 but type 2 people can still weigh in.  ;)

8 pile shuffle. Make 8 piles, continue placing one card on each pile in sequence. When out of cards pick up one pile, repeat. Once down to two shuffle them together.
Not quite a ghost...but not quite not.

I haven't had to shuffle a redemption deck in a while, but I'd likely use the standard bridge methods.... just with a LOT less bending.

You can also try farrow shuffling the cards, especially if they're in sleeves.

Between shuffles, do a couple cuts to mix the deck up a bit:

I typically use the method at 5 minutes. It's quick, easy, and doing it a couple times in a row helps mix up a deck, while keeping the cards all facing the same direction (the second cut he shows will NOT keep your cards in the same direction).

I suggest you practice any new method of shuffling on a standard deck of playing cards, not your valuable redemption cards.

If useing sleeves do the Faro shuffle from the side not the ends. Form the ends creates a mixed up deck and can damage sleeves. I suggest a riffle shuffle from the side with sleeves. Shuffling redemption cards without sleeves is niegh impossible unless all cards are from Angelwars down.

When I farrow shuffle, I break the deck from the side, my right hand moves down, and the left hand moves up. Then when I farrow them at the narrow ends, they all remain facing the same direction.

*EDIT*

I just tried it with some sleeves and you're right. I don't know how I forgot that they have an opening on one of the narrow sides.  :-X

Just shows how long it's been since I've actually used my redemption cards.

*EDIT 2*

Yeah, farrowing them with the wide edges works a lot better with sleeves, considering the edges are so narrow, they have a lot of room to weave between each other.

When I'm shuffling before a game I deal them into 7 piles, then hold them in my left hand pulling out random sections and reordering them on top (I don't know the name for this), then deal them into 5 piles, repeat the hand thing, then place it for my opponent to cut.

If I'm shuffling during a game I don't do the piles, just the hand stuff.

It depends if my deck is sorted or not. If not, I do a standard shuffle (combining the two piles at their sides, but not riffling it), 5 pile shuffle, more standard, another 5 pile, more standard, and one more five pile. Then I standard shuffle again and offer a cut.

If it isn't sorted, I just standard shuffle, 5 pile shuffle, standard shuffle, and if I have time do a 6 pile shuffle (always do an odd number total), and then of course standard shuffling again.

I usually do a combination of 7 piles shuffle (deal into 7 piles, this has the added bonus of checking to see if there are missing cards, since the number of cards in my deck is usually divisible by 7, if the piles aren't equal (by the fact that in the last round I put one card on each pile) and I didn't make any mistakes then I'm missing some multiple of 7 cards, usually zero, because missing exactly 7 or exactly 14 cards is rather rare) and rifle shuffling (I think that's what it's called) where I take about half the cards and slide them into the other half (since the cards are sleeved they get spread fairly evenly)
