Is this a new project of yours, Daniel? If so, it looks really good!

I know the two of us usually go back and forth about the art side of things, but this time I'm more interested in the game itself. Having said that, my only comment is that I would line the name of the card up with the top of that icon. The placement of the text just looks off for some reason.

How are you changing up the mechanics to separate it from Redemption?

I like the look of this. I would note two things, however.

1) If you are thinking of producing physical cards there is a practical production reason why most cards are not full bleed. From a previous investigation of POD firms, I believe that all of them are looking to produce bordered cards only.

2) LCG is trade marked or copy written to Fantasy Flight, so you may want your own three letter acronym.  What about XCG--with X meaning eXpandable and standing for Christ?

It appears that he has no Strength/Toughness. That by itself would be a relatively large shift in mechanics. ;)

This is a very cool idea, it could also help to create an easier way to get new card sets out too.
Meanwhile in Iowa...

Redemption has cards with no numbers:

Redemption has cards with no numbers:
I know (hence the winky).

When looking at card redesigns, my preference is for sample cards to include numbers and identifiers (as they are going to junk up the clean design of most cards).

Actually, the opposite is true. Full bleed cards eliminate the risk of "drift" affecting the look of a card. For example, many Redemption cards' white borders reveal that the design is off center and looks bad. The Game Crafter (which I'm using) encourages full bleed cards.

2) LCG is trade marked or copy written to Fantasy Flight, so you may want your own three letter acronym.  What about XCG--with X meaning eXpandable and standing for Christ?
That's a pretty great idea! I think I might roll with that. I was only calling it an LCG because it follows that format.

Lambo is correct, this is a card that happens to have no strength/toughness. However, MJB is very correct that this game has a large shift in mechanics. More on that later.

This is an intriguing idea, interestingly a couple of friends and I had a similar idea (the spin off) although I think we have gone in differing directions in how we were thinking of implementing it, although I have very little knowledge of all your ideas.
If you are reading this signature, thank a physicist.

I gotta say, the more I develop this game, the less it's resembling Redemption. I guess the only thing connecting the two is that this game is created by a former Redemption player, and many cards are based off biblical verses. Here's a sample card using the art from Angel from the Tomb. All art posted here will be changed, as I have commissioned artists especially for this game and they are at work.

The card name looks much better when it lines up across the top and right side like that.
