What Happened to the little toolbar on the left side  of the page that displayed 5 of the latest posted topics?

In May there was a little tool bar,kind of like the one that shows the current members signed in.It was like that but instead it showed like 4 or 5 of the most recents posts (showed that someone had posted in X topic) . 

And now its gone :P.

I miss it too. I guess Schaef figured there was too much going on over there with the addition of the Shoutbox, but I'd rather have the recent posts box than the who's online box.
