Profile Pic: how to?

Hey, I was trying to get a pic of the internet and make it my Profile Pic.  I tried copying and copying with URL or watever it was.  Is it just impossible to take random pics of the Internet and make'em your PP.  Or am I doing something wrong?

Apparently certain pics work better than others. I had to go through three or four to find the one I use now, all the other ones didn't work.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

I just upload mine to my personal Photobucket account, then hotlink. Never had an issue.

The URL of the image, not the page it's on. Just to clarify.

What I do is I right click the picture, select properties, copy the URL, and paste into the url field. It works pretty good in my opinion.
You can form a sentence by cleverly manipulating words- e.g. last 9 words ;)

Or if you're cool and use chrome: Right click -> Copy Image URL.
