We have yet to see the 2nd phase but my predictions for the meta next year is as follows

***they are ordered within tiers***

T1 defense

Tier A
Grey splash
Black/gold splash
Heretics
Herods
Pharisees

Tier B
Magicians
Sadducees
Greeks
Babylonians

Tier C
Egyptians
Assyrians
Emperors

T1 Offense
Tier 1
Purple/clay/silver tomb
Clay/purple/gold tomb
Clay/purple tomb

Tier 2
Judges/Priests
Straight disciples
OT Splash (The Deck Variations)
Throne deck
Genesis
Saul/Paul

Tier 3
Luke/John Samaritans
Deacons
Prophets

T2 people I think we all know
Defensive Heretics are the play initially but well find ways around it so it will lessen but Heretics is where it's at. Demons will creep on as the year goes it may be a 50/50 demon heretic split at nats.

haha joking. Honestly I think claysiples or my new nickname for them, MUDMEN with pharisee-saducee is the number one meta new deck. Although OT random splash may deserve a higher ranking in teir 2. Just my opinon

All of the new offense is vastly overrated. Clay is pretty weak as of this moment. Mono Disciples should be tier 1.

I'm not convinced Heretics will be a Tier 1 defense in either type. I would put Philistines at LEAST at Tier C. Also, I think Judges will still be Tier 1, especially as many people expect to face NT offenses. And Judges have Ehud.

I understand your desire to call phillies tier 1 especially after the year you had but honestly I'd say site lock is a better description of your defense. Although your record speaks for it's self so who knows.

@Red I don't think clay is that good hence deacons tier 3 I think clay creates a splash in disciples with the silver and tomb is the way to go. NT splash

Site lock was a big component of my deck, but the real strength of Phillies is their staying power. I could take out all of my sites, an LS, and a Dominant, and I feel my deck would have been pretty good. I won't argue that they are a top defense, but certainly on par with Emperors and Babylonians.
