My plan is to rent a 15 passenger van and make the trip to nats with a crew from South Central PA.

Date- depart 8/5 6:00pm return by 8/10 undetermined time frame

In preliminary discussions I believe said van can be rented for approximately 700 dollars for the time needed.

There will be approximately 2400 miles to drive to get there and back. Assuming 12 miles a gallon a gas we need 200 gallons of gas at 4 dollars a piece this is another 800 dollars.

Total we need 1,500 dollars.

I would prefer to travel with only 10 people to have a comfortable amount of space but am willing to take more if the initial 10 agree.

Here is what it will take to reserve a seat.
1. 50.00 dollars and your name, phone number and address sent to me by 7/15/14
      -50.00 more dollars to be paid by 7/29/14
      -50.00 additional to be paid on departure date. 
    **** grand total of 150.00 dollars ****
2. A commitment to take everything for you as an individual in one medium suitcase and one carry-on sized bag. (Willing to make an exception for t2 players and those who request ahead of time. First come first serve on extra space)
3. You must shower at least 10 minutes the day we travel, brush your teeth and use deodorant. If you arrive and stick ill charge you a double ticket to ride no offense just makes the trip miserable if one person smells the car up for the entire group.
4. A commitment not to curse or gossip while traveling.
5. A commitment not to play your headphones so loud that everyone else in the van has to hear it.
6. A commitment to have fun, have a positive attitude and  enjoy the week of fellowship!!!

Had been planning a car trip, this may be more effective.  How are you handling drivers, you going to have a pool of them and switch each time we fill up?

Just depends on the rental costs and rules but I'd love to be able to swap drivers.  Cost wise it may be most effective to have drivers 25(+) from what I am seeing.

What qualifies as "on the way?" Will you be passing through Florida, by chance?

I don't recall the eye-buddy thing though.

Drat.  I can't remember who that was.  2.38 years ago (or so), I went to a tourney up in PA and met someone who had a lazy right eye.  I have a lazy left eye.  We were eye buddies.  And I have lost him...

I looked through the copy of the book she had and never did find a connection though.

I'll have to bring my latest edition to Nats...and we'll find out if that connection is just an unknown known or an unknown unknown, so that possibly it can become a known known instead of a known unknown.

Or I could just not think about her ever again? I like the not thinking about her ever again option.

When you say "lazy eye" do you mean you can't see in it? Because I definitely can't see in my right eye at all, but the pupil follows like it's supposed to.

Oh, was that you after all?  I am legally blind in my left.  Technically it is a lazy eye, but it doesn't drift, it just never worked and my brain shut it off.
