It all depends on the functions you perform that dictate what you get.As for the Transformer, the Prime is quad-core and is hydro-oleophobic on the screen AND aluminum frame. The current generation Transformer will soon be able to get Ice Cream Sandwich and for those that haven't heard...it's only $250 at Best Buy on Black Friday!
OK, that compares the model you recommended, and the only advantage was less weight and longer battery life. So why would I want to spend $200 more for an inferior product just because it is a tablet, and they are currently considered cool?
