Frankly, I prefer the Older Smilies
Especially :
??? and  :o they are just weird now when they used to actually get a point across
Anyone else have any opinions about the smilies?

(Also, Btw, Is it just me or has anybody elses  :sleepy: Never Worked?)

Yeah, sleepy never worked for me either. It might have during Christmas one time or something.

But I wouldn't say smileys were ever meant to "get a point across". They're just fun little visuals meant to relieve walls of text. Personally, I don't like the old smileys any better than the new ones, or the new better than the old for that matter. It's just not a big deal.

Although I'll say I'm tired of +1 being what it is.

Sleepy has never worked during my tenure here.  I never use smilies myself (one exception, see if you can find it)

When numbers are involved, no one is happy.  Everyone wants bigger ones.
Ironically, my number has dropped from 94 to 86. It was inflated in the first place, so soon enough I will be back to normal. I guess I will have to stop posting on the "No, you're thinking of" thread, since someone gives everyone a -1 when they post there.

Spiritual Gifts in the Bible
An enhancement is considered a spiritual gift if it represents one of the gifts of the Spirit listed in the Bible.  Spiritual gifts can be found in Romans 12.  The following are recorded: prophesying (v. 6), serving (v. 7), teaching (v. 7), encouraging (v. 8), giving (v. 8), leadership (v. 8), and mercy (v. 8).  I Corinthians 12 specifies the following as spiritual gifts: message of wisdom (v. 8), message of knowledge (v. 8), special faith (v. 9), power to heal the sick (v. 9), ability to perform miracles (v. 10), prophecy (v. 10), discernment (v. 10), and foreign tongues (v. 10).  The Redemption® card Spiritual Gifts uses the verse Galatians 5:22-23 which would make the following spiritual gifts as well: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, long-suffering, meekness, and temperance.  1 Corinthians 12:8 lists wisdom.  Finally, Ephesians 4:7-16 lists the following gifts: apostle (v. 11), prophecy (v. 11), evangelism (v. 11), and pastoral and teaching (v. 11).
The Redemption® cards that represent on of the gifts are:

to be fair most of these are probably unintentional

You know, if you make a bit of effort, it is plenty easy to +1 something or list 8) without getting a smiley.

I did not know that was possible. How do you do that?

EDIT: I guess I just have to edit everything now in order not to ruin my post count. :/

Expand the "Attachments and other options" and check "Don't use smileys"
