3D is extremely hard to bootleg.Toy Story 3 was written before Toy Story 2, back before Disney began to interfere, so I'm hopeful. The director they chose co-directed TS2, Monsters, and Nemo, plus he edited the early stuff (TS1, A Bug's Life). I think it's in good hands... though he did go to USC.On a side note, Up received applause at Cannes. Pixar is 10 for 10 so far.

Quote from: Lamborghini_diablo on May 29, 2009, 11:08:44 PMOnly pixar movies I have yet to see are Monsters Inc. and Cars.Cars is "merely" very good. Monsters Inc was Step 2 of my three-step rehabilitation. I'll explain.I saw the teaser for Finding Nemo, and I said, "eh". Then I saw it. Very good movie.I saw the teaser for Monsters, Inc, and I said "that looks okay, I guess". Then I saw it. EXCELLENT movie.I saw the teaser for The Incredibles, and I said "what a step back. They don't even look very realistic anymore. Boo." Then I saw it. Three times in theaters. Best Pixar movie I ever saw and made be a Brad Bird film for life. After those three, I stopped doubting Pixar in any way, shape or form. They said "our next movie is about talking race cars". I said "bring it". They said "our next movie is about a rat that cooks". I said "sweet". They said "our next movie is about a trash-compactor robot that travels into space". I said "awesome". Until they make a bad movie, I will never ever ever doubt them again, no matter how un-awesome the idea of the movie may seem at first. The teasers are ALWAYS almost completely unrelated to the film's content. Just a little something to riff on the main characters a bit. Pixar seems to be pretty good about saving quite a bit of their best stuff for in the theaters, which I appreciate. I hate seeing all the best parts in the trailer.
