Well, I'd really like to do the League Manager option but it's not free.  Maybe I'll sell some of my cards next year to upgrade to that league.

Ahh, the vagaries of fantasy football.   :-\

Six out of six teams in the semis (one league is points based).  My two 13-1 teams crashed and burned in a huge fiery heap.  (Yeah, yeah, yeah, I still have some players from Monday night to go, but too much ground to make up.)  My 12-1 team that had the bye just may squeak into the championship game.  My 10-3-1 NFL.com team also looks to go into the championship game.  Of the two remaining I knew one team was really a bunch of overachievers anyway and likely will fizzle after Monday night.  The final one is in question because I still have four pending players.  Odds are I go 2-6 in the semis.  Epic fail.  Almost feels like the Cowboys this decade.

sorry, but you missed the playoffs by 10 spots.  You did, however, have the largest lead in last weeks blowout win to rob Kirk Dennison of the 8th playoff spot.

so you can take some consolation in playing spoiler I guess..

Correction, I would have been the 5th seed, based on a 7-6 record with way more points scored than the rest of the other 7-6 squads...

For what its worth, I would be in the championship game at this point.  As the 5th seed, I would have pasted Orange Demons and would have had a 48 point lead over 49ers with Fred Davis to go.

Congrats on ruining my chances to defend my championship Jonathan...  ::)  If I score more points than either of the teams in the championship next week.....

I believe your hopes are tied to Caldwell's willingness to let Peyton and Dallas play the whole game.   ;)

On a side note, it seems I am much better at fantasy baseball than fantasy football.  Because NYG won in a rout with Eli and the defense playing so well, my 12-1 team bit the dust by a couple of points.  So I ended up only getting one out of six teams into a championship game.   :-\  But that's no reason to hang my head in shame.  It is, however, quite embarrassing to lose to a girl...TWO WEEKS IN A ROW!!   :D   Yeah, in one league I was 9-3, in first, and playing the only girl in the league in the final week.  She kicked my gluteous maximus.  Then I draw her for the semis and she barely holds me off for the second win.  OUCH!!  Of course, now that I think about it the only baseball league in which I lost this summer a girl was the champion and beat me in the semis.

I'm such a gentleman!  :rollin:

True, true, Those two boys won me about 55 points last week.  That is why I picked up Chad Henne if it looks like they are going to sit peyton.

Well, that'll do it.  Congrats, Stamp!

Just another game that shows how crazy fantasy football can be, especially at the end of the season.  Not counting the two RBs, sk had me beat 94-64.  My RBs outscored sk's 42-0.  Are you kidding me?!?  Even if I had AP and CJ2K I wouldn't think that I could make up 30 points.  And it's not that sk's RBs were injured.  Both played!  (Although very badly.)

In any case, I feel like I backed into the only championship I won.  Overall, I finished with one 1st, three 3rds, and two 4ths.  (Some leagues do not have 3rd place games, but based on results I would have won.)  There is one final week left in the points-based league and I currently lead by a measly 27 points.  Funny thing, at the beginning of the season one gold and three bronze would have been a lofty goal.  But looking back it seems more of a "what might have been."   :-\

It will be interesting to see if the Colts and Saints end up with the same feeling.   :D

Well, I just tallied up my combined won-lost record: 69-21-1    :o

And only one championship to show for it.    :-\

Thanks a bunch!  I'll have to say, I was pretty surprised to do so well in that big of a league - most I've done before is ten, I think.  Can't wait for next year to defend my title!

Congratulations to Falmouth on a job well done. Such a large league makes it very difficult.  I played in a 20 team league before, but most people never play in any this big.

However, I will look to dethrone you next year.  Prior to this year, I had gone 3rd, 2nd, 1st, in the league, so I'll be gunning for you.  8)
