Mondays look better for me.  I'm probably *supposed* to be listening to a lecture about that time, as it's the first day of classes, but those introduction classes are boring and there is WiFi on campus :)  I can always auto-draft if the class goes long enough to interfere, but I doubt it will.

Are we still on for a Yahoo draft this Monday (the 31st)?  What time?

Also, I just went to put together a "just in case" autodraft list and noticed that Yahoo's league now has free live scoring for the entire season, according to the splash page.  :)

The draft is this Monday at 9:30 pm EST.  Expect the draft to take an hour to an hour and a half.

More players can join up until Monday morning!

One more in for the Yahoo.  Which, of course, means one heck of an unbalanced schedule, but hey, Redemption players are all used to unbalanced conditions (real or perceived), right?

BTW, since I'm fairly new, I guess I oughtta introduce myself a bit.  I live in PA, got introduced to Redemption at Creation '08 - actually won a small closed deck tourney my first time playing.  Been playing informally and increasing my collection since then.  Right now, I'm rocking a Genesis/modified Sadducees deck. As to fantasy football cred, I've commissioned my own league on ESPN since 2006, played four leagues in 2007 (won one), played three in 2008 (won another).  My favorite teams are the Steelers and the Giants.  Can't think of anything else relevant right now, other than to say I'm looking forward to getting involved with this great community.

Well, the draft was a lot of fun!  However, I don't think I drafted that well.  The bye weeks that were listed for the players kind of threw me off my groove.  I had certain players in mind but ended up taking others so that I wouldn't have them all on the same bye week.

In the end I probably should have just taken the players I wanted and sacrifice one loss when they were all on the same bye week.

Hopefully my prize rookies, Greene and Nicks, will pay off like DeSean Jackson did for me last year!   :)

Well if Adrian Peterson plans on getting a lot more 76(?) yard TDs on the first posession Soul Saver is in very good shape.  ;D

Does anyone know how Brees has been doing in the pre-season? I haven't watched any Saints games.

Alright guys, I forgot to run this poll sooner.

I know that most of you are in favor of having divisions, with the league housing 20 teams.  However, I need your votes.  I will have to make this change on Thurs in the day at some point.  There are 8 teams that will make the playoffs, so with so many teams, it makes sense to run divisions to have just the top teams in the divisions make the playoffs.

A. No Divisions
B. 2 Divisions
C. 3 Divisions
D. 4 Divisions

Well since we have 18 teams I vote for Option C. 3 Divisions, which will give us 6 teams in each division.

I probably should drop out now.  I found my mistake on why I didn't get any of the players that I wanted including 1st and foremost Adrian Peterson.  I'm so angry at myself on multiple levels.  When I was putting together my pre-draft list, I was actually putting them in the box of "don't draft these players."  I don't know why I even bother sometimes....why would they even have that as an option!?!  Why make it the box on the left?  I should have just left everything alone and I would have ended up better then I am.  Well, I just had to tell you guys, at least you will get a free win at my expense.

So, when exactly did the steelers become a passing team?
I thought that Willie Parker was a decent pick-up for a number 2/3 back but he did nothing tonight....

For that matter Chris Johnson did very little too.... I didn't expect a lot because of pits D but still.....
