Why doesn't the calendar show tournaments?
And why isn't covenant games updated??
And when does the redemption season start???

The new season starts after Nationals.  I know that I am having a tourney coming up, maybe the site is down.

So nats kicks off the season? doesn't the season usually build up to nats?

Nats is the end of the tournaments season, after nats is the beginning. Like December 31st is the end of the year immediately followed by January 1st.

Do you know were I can find a list of all of the redemption events? I mean, it is the middle of the season isn't it?

It's the middle of the season during difficult economic times. With money tight as it is, and the holidays approaching, hosts like me cannot afford tournaments at this time. I usually don't start hosting tournaments until after I get my tax return in February.
