Ok, so, I have this new thing on my screen, when I get on the boards. It says Trumpet Blast!   .   

And, It goes like this-

drb1200 : yes Raven. toast.

Then-

New Raven BR :   Toast?




Then It goes on and on and on and on and on.......You get my point! I was just curious. ! Thanks everyone!

It's not really a "chat" either, in the strictest sense.  It's just for short message bursts.

that way people can stop spamming and just post there but don't tell the people who do spam just to get there post count up that it doesn't count as a post.

I thought the chat boxes/rooms got removed because of confilcts in the past.   So we're giving them another try?

A shoutbox is not a chat room and IMO wouldn't really work out to well for doing online matches and such.  A chat room is not out of the question but the parameters about how and when and for how long are not clear at this time.
